SUmmer PeakDemand Hours

EnergyUnited’s rate structure focuses less on how much energy you use and more on when you use it. By spreading out the use of large appliances, you can reduce peak demand while staying comfortable.

My Energyhub

EnergyUnited continues to make progress restoring power following the severe storms that moved through our service area yesterday. At the peak of the storm, more than 6,200 members were without power. As of 9 a.m., EnergyUnited crews have restored power to approximately 5,800 members. Crews are now working to restore power to more than 400 members experiencing service interruptions across nearly 50 separate outage events. In some of the hardest-hit areas, crews are making repairs today to address significant damage, including broken poles and damaged crossarms, with additional crews from neighboring cooperatives supporting restoration efforts. Due to the number of separate outage events and repairs needed, we expect power to be restored to all members by 9 p.m. tonight. Members should begin seeing individual estimated restoration times this afternoon as crews continue repairs and complete damage assessments. More storms are expected to move through our service area today, which could also impact restoration efforts. Looking for simple ways to use less energy at home? Try these three habits: • Run the dishwasher only when it’s full and let dishes air-dry. 🍽️ • Set your thermostat to a comfortable temperature and keep it steady. Lowering it won’t cool your home faster. 🌡️ • Choose cold water for laundry when you can.👚 Small habits can make a difference. Find more energy-saving tips: https://zurl.co/SdBd2 #TheEnergyUnitedWay
