EnergyUnited Sponsors Carolina BalloonFest Oct. 18-20

EnergyUnited is proud to serve as a sponsor of the 2019 Carolina BalloonFest being held at the Statesville Regional Airport on October 18-20. This is the 46^th consecutive year this special event has been held in Statesville and it is the second longest running balloon festival in the United States.

The three-day event is packed with family-friendly activities, including the popular kid’s zone, food vendors, two stages with live music, the artisan village, a wine & craft beer garden and tethered balloon rides. Of course, the BalloonFest will continue its long tradition with mass balloon launches each morning and late afternoon. Balloons will also inflate and display at dusk Friday and Saturday evenings creating a spectacular glow event!

EnergyUnited will be on hand with a display of electric cars, including our company Tesla, and our partner Touchstone Energy will have their own hot air balloon at the festival all weekend to provide rides and photo opportunities.  The festival is such a valued mainstay in the community that EnergyUnited is having its own annual employee Family Fun Day on Saturday so that all employees can enjoy the event!
